Thursday Shoesday?

Last night Tim said something about Tuesday Shoesday and all of a sudden I realized..

It was Wednesday!

If you came to look for cute shoes I apologize!

Spring Break will do that to you though,

My favorite thing about breaks is that you forget what day it is.

But that is definitely not good for my To-Do Lists. 

 Today is St. Patricks Day,

and for those of you wondering if I made it out alive with registering...

I did!

It definitely wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!

I will say that Crate and Barrel was definitely the easiest place to register!

Everything was set up so that clicking that gun was super easy!

Dillards however...

Not so easy.

Tim and I got a little bit sassy with each other there.

He wanted another coffee maker...

I wanted everything red...

We had a few disagreements,

but as soon as I let him choose the lingerie we would register for,

He definitely stopped being sassy.

So all ended well ; )

To Register or Run That is the Question.

Today we register!

I don't really know why but this has been the most stressful thing to me.

How are we supposed to ask for all of these things all at once?

And what if I register for pretty red and mint green kitchen stuff

and then we have orange tiles in the kitchen?

How do we register for a place we don't even have yet?

And I don't cook,

so I have no clue which things are important.

I have a few check lists and Tims mom,

without those I might just not go.

My amazing husband to be worded it perfectly 

here.

I know, I know,

you're thinking "what in the world!? You the girl who loves to shop is getting overwhelmed by shopping and not having to buy??"

But this is shopping for things that I am not an expert on.

Tell me to go register for shoes and I will know exactly where to go and exactly what to buy without ever hesitating.

But cooking?

Whooooole different story.

My family used to make fun of me because I only cooked things that could be microwaved.

And now I am supposed to go buy appliances?

I'll try and blog later today and let you know if it was really all that bad.

Springing into Spring

I can officially say it is spring!

I am in Austin for spring break,

which means 80 degree weather and lots of summer shopping!

What a great combo!

Spring Break to me always means that I need to start looking for a swim suite,

fast.

And boy do I looooove me a good swim suite!

It's like a hobby of mine to collect as many as I can.

But this summer there is a problem!

My wedding dress is not going to look classy with tan lines.

So I have been on the hunt for a bandeau top that will not allow this to happen. 

Here are a few that I think might do the trick!

Frank the Cat

Today I was browsing through my pictures and I found some that I couldn't help but share.

So as you know Tim and I are long distance,

and he is living in his house alone.

So I didn't want him to get lonely!

So what do I do?

I buy him a cat.

I realize that not many guys are supposed to like cats,

but lets face it,

Tim is not like many guys.

He is better.

But moral of the story is that Tim and I are in love with our baby,

Frank.

He is the most perfect cat out there,

and the cutest.

So for today I thought I would share with you some pictures of our child.

Since we are long distance it was a must that we have a cat that can ride in cars and not freak out.

Now he doesn't quite fit it like he used to.

Playing in my make up is apparently entertaining.

Possibly this funniest thing this boy does is this back curling thing.

Sometimes it takes his whole body over and he can't even walk because of it.

It only happens when he feels the need to attack you,

so Tim and I encourage it.

Daily.

And we laugh.

A lot.

Pretty boy.

Maybe one of the funniest nights on Skype ever.

Its that time again!

This week I'm going to do something a little bit different!

The previous Tuesday Shoesday's I have put up shoes that I would dream of having,

they were all shoes that were well.... just a little too expensive for the normal shopping trip.

And if you know me,

or have ever shopped with me,

you know that I am the QUEEN of bargain shopping!

There is nothing I love better than finding a really great pair of shoes for under $20.

Seriously.

So, 

today we will be doing the shoes that I would seriously buy,

and the shoes that I have to money to buy.

you just need to be ready to shop and you might have to work a little bit harder.

There have been days that I have gotten more compliments on my shoes that were $20, than the ones that were $100.
