I'm Back!

And hopefully for good this time! 

No promises though.. ;)

Life has been a whirlwind the past couple months.

Planning a wedding can be the hardest thing,

especially if you have this vision that is so detailed.

I read one of my many favorite wedding blogs one day 

and the bride on it was talking about that vision,

she said something that I just kept having to repeat to myself through the entire process.

She said that sometimes its hard for people to see what you see in your head,

and even though you know how amazing its going to look 

other people might see something completely different,

but you have to stick to your guns!

Because if you settle then you will always wish you would have fought a little harder 

for the mason jars and the bird cages and wait for it....

for a barn.

And let me tell ya, 

It was so worth it to see my vision come alive!

I wont ever forget the moment that I walked up to the barn after I got my makeup done.

Everything was so spot on.

Not just the decorations,

 but the entire wedding.

It was honestly the best day of my life!

Everyone kept telling me 

"Ashley, something is going to go wrong and you just have to realize that"

and I was completely stubborn and would just nod and smile 

and in the back of my mind I would think 

"Yeah right. Mine will be perfect."

Well it was.

Seriously,

I'm not lying!

And now I am married to the man of my dreams!!!!

I am officially Ashley Kriegel!

Tuesday Shoesday

This Tuesday Shoesday I will be doing something different.

If you know me you know my love for Gossip Girl.

Its real serious.

And other than Chuck Bass,

 the only reason I watch the show is to admire the clothes and the fashion.

Well I will just let her and Serena do the talking themselves.

Not Before You Show Me How To Die.

While I was driving to Abilene to see Tim I put my ipod on shuffle,

this song came on and I have had it on constant repeat ever since.

I've been a really great blogger these past two weeks.

April Fools!

I have been possibly the worst blogger.

I just struggle sometimes with getting everything on my planner,

and actually accomplishing all of those things.

So please forgive me!

But I have to tell you that I am beyond excited that April is here!!!

This month is full of so many exciting things its hard for me to contain myself!

Next weekend Tim and I will be doing our cake tasting.

And let me tell ya,

we love food.

love.

So those little mini cakes that we are going to be trying will NOT be counted on my weight watchers points.

Then 2 weeks later Tims mom and her partner in crime Lisa will be coming to Edmond to work on wedding planning stuff!

We will be doing everything we can fit into two days,

and I will not be going to class those two days.

Even though it will be the week before finals.

Oh well.

The next weekend is the most amazing part!

On Friday I will be waking up and at 10:00 am I will be a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University!

I know I know.

I still have 3 classes to do in the summer,

but walking is going to be amazing!

On Saturday of that weekend Timmy boy and I will be taking engagement pictures with the amazing Amanda Scott!!!!

Eeeeeek!

I already have every outfit planned down to the jewelry,

and next weekend we will be planning what Tim will be wearing.

I love shopping,

especially for other people!

Last night Tim said something about Tuesday Shoesday and all of a sudden I realized..

It was Wednesday!

Spring Break will do that to you though,

My favorite thing about breaks is that you forget what day it is.

But that is definitely not good for my To-Do Lists.

and for those of you wondering if I made it out alive with registering...

I did!

It definitely wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!

I will say that Crate and Barrel was definitely the easiest place to register!

Everything was set up so that clicking that gun was super easy!

Dillards however...

Not so easy.

Tim and I got a little bit sassy with each other there.

He wanted another coffee maker...

I wanted everything red...

We had a few disagreements,

but as soon as I let him choose the lingerie we would register for,

He definitely stopped being sassy.

So all ended well ; )

To Register or Run That is the Question.

Today we register!

I don't really know why but this has been the most stressful thing to me.

How are we supposed to ask for all of these things all at once?

And what if I register for pretty red and mint green kitchen stuff

and then we have orange tiles in the kitchen?

How do we register for a place we don't even have yet?

And I don't cook,

so I have no clue which things are important.

I have a few check lists and Tims mom,

without those I might just not go.

My amazing husband to be worded it perfectly 

here.

I know, I know,

you're thinking "what in the world!? You the girl who loves to shop is getting overwhelmed by shopping and not having to buy??"

But this is shopping for things that I am not an expert on.

Tell me to go register for shoes and I will know exactly where to go and exactly what to buy without ever hesitating.

But cooking?

Whooooole different story.

My family used to make fun of me because I only cooked things that could be microwaved.

And now I am supposed to go buy appliances?

I'll try and blog later today and let you know if it was really all that bad.

Springing into Spring

I can officially say it is spring!

I am in Austin for spring break,

which means 80 degree weather and lots of summer shopping!

What a great combo!

Spring Break to me always means that I need to start looking for a swim suite,

fast.

And boy do I looooove me a good swim suite!

It's like a hobby of mine to collect as many as I can.

But this summer there is a problem!

My wedding dress is not going to look classy with tan lines.

So I have been on the hunt for a bandeau top that will not allow this to happen.
